  • Jacqueline sua - children & families pastor

    Originally from Malaysia, Jacqueline moved to Auckland in 2006 and has been attending PBC ever since. She is married to Kelvin and have two teenage children, Amanda and Adrian. She has been actively involved in serving before being called to be a pastor at the end of 2017. Jacqueline loves food – making and eating it, walking, outdoors, skiing, reading and music. She is passionate to see children and young people grow in their knowledge of God through knowing Jesus, and following Jesus can be fun, engaging, exciting—a full-on adventure!

  • james bin - mandarin fellowship pastor

    James is our wonderful Mandarin Pastor leading the 3pm Sunday service. 

    James started at PBC in August 1999. He and his wife have been living in Auckland for more than 22 years and have 2 adult children (David and Rainbow) and one grandson (Lincoln).   

    Originally from Hong Kong James trained as a pastor at Carey Bible College and Tyndale Graduate School of Theology (now Laidlaw-Carey Graduate School of Theology).  

    His interests include: reading, listening to church music.  He is passionate about: meeting Mandarin speaking people and telling them about Jesus and that through his role at PBC  "I have seen many people commit to the Lord and their lives changed"

  • keith fox - congregation care pastor

    Keith is involved with care for those in the retired stage of life and also manages different projects in PBC.  He joined Pakuranga Baptist Church in 2012 and has lived in the Botany area since 1999. He has many years of business experience and since 2004 has undertaken pastoral care roles, project management and event organisation as a church staff member and volunteer. 

    Keith is passionate to help people and churches achieve the potential that God sees in them. He has a family of adult children and grandchildren.

    Colleen takes care of lots of administrative tasks, bookings for the buildings and many other things.

  • Andrew Brown - senior pastor

    Andrew is obviously a big fan of Pakuranga Baptist Church.  Originally from down south he is a massive fan of Auckland too.  He mixes his interest in preaching and leadership with a deep desire to see people grow spiritually.  Senior Pastor since 1995, Andrew trained as a Spiritual Director and Professional Supervisor.  He is on the Northern Baptist Association Board.  

    Andrew is married to Nan Yong and has a teenage son, Wesley. He loves hiking in the bush, running, dining out and driving his old MX5 with the top down as much as he can.


  • Brigitte crowe - associate pastor

    Brigitte has always been passionate about people. Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, she has now lived in NZ for close to 14 years. She has qualifications in teaching, counselling and theology. Brigitte is one of the Children and Families Coaches for the Northern Baptist Association. And also on the SMRT for the Baptist Union. She is the Associate Pastor here at Pakuranga Baptist.

     

    Brigitte and Alex have been married for 28 years. They have three adult children and two grandchildren. Family is everything to her. She loves to entertain people at their home, enjoys road trips, walks on the beach, reading widely and robust discussions. 



pbc elders

Our church is led by a group of elders who serve as the governing board of the church.  The elders are responsible for spiritual oversight and guiding all issues and decisions at the church, although they are free to delegate various tasks to others.
